What is it? DAC is hosting fun events open to the public every First Thursday at 7pm in the DAC room. Events will include Open Studio times, Artist Talks, Art Demonstrations, and more!

The De Soto Art Council is hosting their 3rd Annual Plein Air Event, Saturday May 4th from 10- 2pm in conjunction with the Happy Valley Spring Festival.

Come to the Arts Council table to get your paper/canvas stamped before you begin. You can set up and draw around the farm; perhaps paint their adorable goats?! Cash prizes will be awarded to the top three artists. We will also have a children’s category for kids 12 and under. Bring your own art supplies and make sure to turn your masterpiece in by 2pm to be in the running. This event is free.
