Join us for this popular art class for homeschoolers! Diana Zwhalen, a retired art teacher, uses her warm personality and decades of experience to bring joy to the process of creating art! She's great at choosing projects that work for a wide variety of skill levels, PLUS she knows the kinds of art kids love to do.
In this class - Intro to Color Theory:
Students will learn to use a color wheel and learn color terminology and how to make a monochromatic painting as well as using a triad color scheme for painting. Each student will be given a color wheel to work with.
We will be using paint.
Paint shirts and old clothes please.
This class is limited to 10 students.
Dates: This is a 3 day class - Feb. 10, 11, 12
Times: 9:30 to 11:30 AM each day
Cost: $25.00 per student covers all three days
Ages: 7 to 12

Location: Each class takes place in the De Soto Arts Council Room inside City Hall. If you come in the doors near the gym on 84th St (NOT the doors that lead to the city administration offices, but the gym doors just east of those), follow the signs on the wall to find the DAC room. It's near/past the Jazzercise room.
